My month for stone-setting/jewellery re-entry and printmaking in Florence has been a bit stop-start – illness, work, a scoot down to Roma…doesn’t help when you throw wedding plans into the mix, which, for the record, aren’t really mind boggling beyond the bureaucracy, since we’re using the KISS system for our nuptials: that is Keep It Simple, Sweetheart. I won’t bore anyone with minutiae.
I’m still filing away at my wedding ring, will leap into the making of Marco’s once I’m at home, and then we only have 9 days before my parents arrive in Tuscany.
In the meantime, on the jewellery front, here’s the progress photos for the convex ring with the curlicue detail. Still a work for further progress, maybe; I’m thinking perhaps some light engraving but it’ll be much further down the track.
One thing at a time, Ali.
Not too bad for re-entry into the silver biz.
